Spacing Out
When I think about the words “spacing out”, I don’t have positive connotations. If you’re spacing out, it sounds like you’re doing something wrong. You’d probably get in trouble if they caught you spacing out in class. But for the last couple of weeks, I feel like it’s all I’ve been doing. Perhaps it’s the summer heat but I have been taking some space from the typical and relentless doing of my life.
Spacing out the different parts of my life, creating space between this and that. Space is the new luxury.
